Re: Take Responsibility for Your Health
Here's a letter from a 57 year young man who has the
body of a 25 year old - his young girlfriend.
OK, sorry about the Groucho Marx joke. He keeps in
great shape and has the health of a man 30 years
younger.
His secret - personal responsibility. Here's a portion
of his email:
Hello Hut,
It would be good if the general population felt
physical training were beneficial. We could keep the
doctors writing books and playing more golf.
Dietary habits are another destructive animal
few are concerned about.
Potato chips, hamburgers and sodas are the standard
diet. I would venture to say that our health care
insurance premiums would drop drastically.
The biggest kicker here is accepting personal
responsibility for our present condition.
Disease is about 90 % environmental... self-inflicted.
We can change outcomes in many cases. Time to look at
where we are, and where we should really be. Stan
Stan,
Great job. I completely agree with you. It's all about
what you do for your own self.
Most people out there play the blame game and
look for the easy way out. Just take some
responsibility and do what needs to be done.
Train Smart!
