About Personal Trainer Angela:

I am 35 years old. I have a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from James Madison University. Before becoming a stay at home mom, to my two children, I was a group counselor for adults with disabilities. During both of my pregnancies I was put on bed rest and gained over 90 pounds. After having my kids I was able to lose all of the weight. I lost every single pound through a lot of hard work and good eating. None of it came off easy!
Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I was a runner throughout high school and also in college. I currently compete in marathons and numerous long distance races and am working towards the goal of doing a triathlon by next fall.
I hold certifications through NASM for personal training, AFAA Primary Group Exercise, and a certification in Metabolic Effects workouts. I have experience in training endurance athletes, senior citizens, and people who simply have the goal of losing weight and getting in shape.
