Re: It's Too Expensive
A women asked me a question the other day, why do you
think staying healthy cost so much money.
I've been asked that question a few times and
wanted to make my response clear.
So I asked. Tell me what's so expensive about staying
healthy?
She proceeded to tell me that eating healthy and having
a trainer was very expensive.
Expensive compared to what I asked?
I asked her to think about some of the things that she
had given up since beginning her fitness and nutrition
program.
After a few moments of thought she replied that she had
given up smoking a pack of cigarettes per day, one
Starbucks coffee, and an afternoon snickers bar with a
coke.
Through nutrition alone, she has saved lots of money
per month by making those changes in her life.
When you calculate the monthly savings, it's simply
amazing how much she was spending to sabotage her
health.
A leading brand of cigarettes is $4.50 per pack, the
Starbucks coffee was $4.10 per day, a snicker
and coke is roughly $2.50 per day. This is a whopping
$11.10 per day.
Think about that, if she has those three products 30
days of each month, she is spending $333.00 per month.
WOW!
The next time you think being healthy is too expensive,
take a look at the things in your life that are not
helping but hurting your results.
Total the cost of those things and you will be amazed
at how staying healthy really saves you money.
I did not even factor in medications, eating out, or
alcohol. There are to many products to talk about them
all in this email. Take some time and make your list.
Our basic nutrition package which consist of a strong
multi-vitamin, two meal replacements, and a post-
recovery workout drink is roughly $5.00 per day.
So the next time you think eating healthy is too
expensive, break down your finances and I guarantee you
will be able to eat healthy and save money.
Train Smart!
