To: Eric,

Re: Is Obesity Costing You Money?

A fellow client of New Wave Fitness passed an email
over to me the other day, that really hit home.

Basically the email stated that obesity is costing
Texas businesses an estimated 3.3 billion dollars per
year in health care cost and employee absenteeism.

It also pointed out that if we continue at this rate
the cost will be an estimated 15.8 billion by the time
my nephew graduates from High School. (He's four). WOW!

To add insult to injury, this week I was attending a
continuing education course and one of the new studies
indicates that in America 7 out of 10 people are on
medications that can be directly affected by health and
nutrition.

If you really think about it, we are eating ourselves
into an early grave.

It made me step back and realize, we have a MORAL
obligation to take control of our health. If not for
our own self, then at least for our kids and grand
kids. It's our responsibility.

I challenge you to look around the next time you're
eating out.  Take a look at how many people are obese
and are overeating. It's a very serious
problem. We must take CONTROL.

Train Smart,

Hut
