What is your perception of being
healthy and fit?
Do you look at bodybuilders and
think that you need to look like them in order to be fit? Or do you look at
runners and swimmers and think the same thing?
One thing you need to understand is the different body type categories
that your body falls into. You have Endomorphs, Ectomorphs, and Mesomorphs.
Whats the Difference?
Endomorphs are people that can
gain body fat easily. They look at food and gain weight.
Ectomorphs are on the opposite end of the spectrum; they can eat whatever
they want and not gain one pound of fat and have an extremely hard time gaining
muscle and keeping it.
Then there are Mesomorphs, who can put on muscle and lose body fat
quickly and easily.
We all fall into one or all three of these body-type categories, and
understanding this will help you change your perceptions of what you need to
accomplish to be fit.
Example!
If you perceive bodybuilders to be the
pinnacle of health and fitness, what do you do if you have a body type
that does not allow you to have that same physique? Do you quit or think that
you can never have a fit lifestyle?
No, you change your perception of what being healthy and fit means. Here
is a list that, if adopted, certainly cannot go wrong on acquiring a fit and
healthy body.
