Hey everybody I hope that this entry finds you well and healthy. In this
article I want to discuss what I feel is a great way to keep your immune system
strong, and to keep the colds away during this winter season. It is my own
private cocktail however I ironically just saw an article posted online through
a credible source that echoed the same sentiment that I believe in. So what am I
talking about? Let's take a look.
My favorite cocktail to keep colds away during winter season includes a few
different supplements in conjunction obviously with exercise, sleep, and proper
nutrition. The first supplement I believe in is echinacea. Echinacea is an herb
it is supposed to help promote a healthy immune system. I never did believe that echinacea really did help, however, in so using it over the course of the last
few years I have definitely been cognizant to its great benefits.
Next, I like Omega threes. I prefer to take my omega-3 fatty acids in pill form,
or softgel. Make sure that you're taking your Omega-3s daily especially if
you're not a very big fish eater which I am not. After Omega threes, I like to
take in vitamin D3. During the winter months especially we don't get as much sun
exposure, thus vitamin D3 tends to be deficient. I take vitamin D3 all year
round and love its benefits.
Next is a multivitamin which I just do in chewable form, which I feel is a
good security blanket in case your diet is not on point. With a multivitamin you
can be sure that you're covering all your bases, so it's kind of a good safety
net if you don't have the greatest all-around diet.
Vitamin C is next on my list. Although we tend to get enough vitamin C in our
diet, I also like to supplement vitamin C during the winter.
So this is my cocktail listed above, it has worked well for me and I feel that I
will work well for you. I hope everybody is staying healthy during these winter
months. Wish you all the best.
